I currently run a s-s telecaster into a block letter peavey 5150, and a marshall 1960a cab. But I've decided to sell the peavey, in an attempt to find a better amp with more clean overhead. I've been researching Ampeg v-4's, YBA-1 Trayor's, and even Sunn combos. anyone know a great vintage tube combo or head, for not too much money that has a bunch of clean overhead?
thanks!

What was your first guitar and amp you started with?

I'm putting out a feeler for my very rare 50 watt Bogner Ecstacy 6L6 version (not EL 34 like most) with all of the bells and whistles including Class A/AB switch, New/Old switch, metal grill and the Bogner pedal. Amp also comes with a nice form-fitted nylon cover.
I called and spoke with Shawn at Bogner a few years ago something else and asked about the amp. I was told that he was only aware of a few like this that were ever made.
The amp is in great shape functionally and cosmetically. It sounds great especially on the Blue channel in class "A" mode.
I'm not 100% sure I want to sell it but I thought I'd put this out there to see if there's any interest. To comply with the DG rules, I'll put an asking price in of $3,400.
Let me know if there's any interest.

Hi all
I'm putting together an acoustic / modern folk band in Cambridgeshire UK, and I need an acoustic guitarist (thought here would be a good place to find one
I already have a bassist (me), and a female vocalist.
If you can sing as well its a bonus, but not essential.
We're gonna start off with covers, but hope to move to writing original stuff later on.
If you've already got your own stuff then great.
I've been playing in bands for around 20 years, the singer is pretty new to all this.
Your age and experience is unimportant, but we are looking for commitment.
If you're at all interested or curious get in touch.

My mesa studio caliber amp has been sounding funny on the clean channel.
Low power and not clean.
Changed all tubes with mesa tubes of course.
Still does it ?
Could it be the caps ?
Could it be the fuse ?
