Our Rush tribute band recently lost our guitarist (he works for a UPS-type of company, so he stepped down because of his increased work load). We are looking for a guitarist who is a big Rush fan and who is wiling to play songs from their entire catalog, not just Moving Pictures and 2112. Our goal is to have enough songs to be able to gig in the spring. Our current line up is drums, vocals, and me on bass and bass pedals/synth, so we would be a four-piece with a guitarist.

I've used a few different kinds of strings on my acoustics, and I find myself going back to the standard Martin strings in a medium or light gauge. I haven't experimented much with it other than Elixers, which I didn't care for. They worked pretty well on my bass, but not so much on acoustic guitar. What do you guys use?

Found new resource for guitarists. Gone through and noticed nice tips for practice. It's some kind of guide for guitar player http://guitar-guide-easy.com/ to learn it better. Any thoughts?
